The name Glenvarigill originates from the Skye home of Captain McKinnon.
The first dealership, Mercedez Benz, opened in Cupar in 1966.
Between 1966 –2002 Glenvarigill grows to 18 businesses operating in locations across Central and Eastern Scotland
July 2002 – Management Buy Out.

With seven businesses throughout Scotland representing 4 prestige marques and have an annual turnover of £100m. Formerly owned by Drambuie Ltd, Glenvarigill successfully completed a Management Buy Out in July 2002.
With the Head Office based in Edinburgh , Glenvarigill is an established name in Scotland , synonymous with highly individual, expert service and attention to detail, whether in our products, our showroom or our staff.
Glenvarigill currently hold franchises in Scotland for marques including Audi, Volkswagen, Honda and Peugeot. In representing these marques Glenvarigill as a brand name is known to a broad spectrum of people.
The Glenvarigill group will continue to expand as relevant opportunities to
acquire franchises become available within Scotland , gaining new marques to complement those already represented.
Sponsorship arrangements are an important aspect of the Glenvarigill’s public profile; those currently in force include associations with the St Andrews Bay Golf Resort and Spa. Glenvarigill also supports a number of regional activities, events and charities.
